My first experience in the operating room was as a patient with a hand injury. I enjoy the intricacies of the hand and getting patients back to everyday functional use of their hands.
Dr. Terral completed medical school at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. After a general surgery residency in New Orleans, Dr. Terral completed a fellowship in hand surgery at University of Mississippi Medical Center-Jackson.
During his fellowship Dr. Terral received extensive training in all aspects of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow including the nerves, tendons, bones, and blood vessels.
When Dr. Terral is not practicing medicine, he enjoys spending his time outdoors hunting. He is a big LSU and Saints sports fan. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
